5 years later

Hey guys, I finally made it back after 5 years. Looks like there are still alot of faces on here from MAMW. Well, a lot of stuff has happened in the last 5 years, I've been to college, I went to work on Mackinac Island here in Michigan where I've worked for the Grand Hotel for the last 5 years and for the past three have been managing their stables. In Sept 2008 my Mom passed, she was the reason I got into VW's. Last month I took the dive and joined the Navy as a machinist mate, one more year on Mackinac Island, then off to basic in Sept. I've been slowly getting my Super Beetle back together, although I am going to hand off the project while I am on Mackinac and then when I leave for basic. Hopefully when I get back she will be back in one piece with a reliable Subaru power plant. Anyway it's good to see a lot of familiar names again.

I was wondering what happened to you recently. Sad news about your mom. I lost mine just over 3 years ago. Good luck with the Super and good luck in the Navy.
