International Drive your VW to work day June 22

If you don't already drive your VW to work, you need to grab the keys on the morning of June 22nd and let it stretch it's legs with the rest of the commuters.

Work from home? Consider taking a spin around town. Just do your part to get those vintage VW's out on the road on the 22nd.

GFCI circuits on Westys or EVs

This may just be a tip disguised as an article.

I had a shot dead GFCI on the 110AC circuit on the EV. Basically 110 runs from the outboard connection to the inboard through the GCFI. If it's bad, no AC to the outlets or the refrigerator.

Defrost Tube Replacement

GregM writes "Replacing the front defrost tubes is a pain to do. I have done it and would like to tell you how. This is not a quick job. The easiest way to get to them is to remove the stuff that hides them. Start with the hood. Remove it, hinges and all. Simply remove the 13 MM bolt that attaches the hinge to the body. There is one on each side. You don’t have to worry about alignment when you re-install it. Take the springs loose from the trunk bottom first. A helper is a must.

News: VolksBash / VolksCast whats happening to VW Radio?

Well it looks like Ray Iddings has moved over to the Rich Christensen Entertainment Network (Pinks) from Monks Media. I have to admit I haven’t followed it closely enough to know all the reasons but I figured it out when I found the Jake Rabey 4th Dimension Radio show and I think that any VW Radio is a good thing. You can still hear all of the past shows over at Monks Media but mark your calendars for Tuesday nights to here VolksCast Live for your weekly dose of VW Related Radio.

I'm making a new section in the "LINKS" for Radio s if anyone want to submit other links we can all check them out.
